The Langtang trek is the third most popular trek in Nepal. The Langtang region is also known as the Valley of Glaciers trek. This trek has the best views of the snow-capped mountains and ice sheets. The Himalayas, perfect pastures, and rich nature and culture delight.

This Trek is in the north of the Kathmandu Valley and has great trails. Each year, over 20% of trekkers visit this region. To the west of Langtang lies the Ganesh Himal, ranging from 6000 to 7000 meters. The Gosainkunda and Helambu region lies to its south. While planning for your trek to these areas, you can combine these regions with Langtang to make treks from 3 to 21 days. This trek lets you hike Tsergo Ri (4984m) for stunning views of high peaks. Langtang National Park

Established in the year 1976, Langtang National Park is the first Himalayan national park of Nepal. This huge national park spans 1,170 square kilometers in Nuwakot, Rasuwa, and Sindhupalanchok. It has an altitude range of 6,450 m (21,160 ft). This National Park is a highland sanctuary, the most accessible from Kathmandu. It is one of Nepal's most unspoiled parks.

The chief attraction of this park is the Langtang range in the north and several lakes in the south. The park has some of the most attractive areas. They are the Langtang Valley, the holy lakes at Gosainkunda, and the forests above Helambu Village.

Langtang Circuit Trek

This Circuit trek is a top hiking spot in the Langtang region. This circuit is very famous for the great panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains. This thrilling trek combines the Langtang Circuit with the holy lake of Gosainkunda and the Helambu Trek. It connects this stunning Valley with these two destinations. You'll pass Syabrubesi. It's the start of the circuit. It takes you to Langtang region and Kyanjin Gompa. Passing through Kyanjin Gompa, you’ll reach Gosainkunda.

Here you can watch a beautiful sunrise and enjoy the breathtaking view of the very sacred Gosainkunda lake. Gosainkunda, the holy lake of Hindus and Buddhists, is the main highlight of this trek. Thousands of Hindu pilgrims visit the lake area every year, especially during the Janai Purnima festival every August. The next stop on this trek is the Laurebinayak pass. It will take you through beautiful rice terraces and monasteries. During this trek, you’ll get spectacular views of Dorje Lakpa (6,990m), Langtang Ri (6,370m), and Langtang Lirung (7,245m). The best season for this trek is the Spring and Autumn seasons.

Autumn and Spring seasons are best recommended for the trek. You can see stunning Rhododendrons and wildflowers along your trekking trail. However, March-May and August-December are considered to be the best season for the trek.
