About Trishuli River Rafting
Trishuli River Rafting makes for the perfect day tour package. Leave the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu for a day and experience the natural beauty that Nepal offers uniquely. Floating down the water for some hours is an ideal retreat for the body, mind, and soul.
Like most rivers in Nepal, the Trishuli’s headwaters come from Tibet and come crashing down the Himalayas. The ice-cold water is refreshing on a steamy hot summer day. Soaking in the river is a great way to reward yourself after an exhausting trek. The Trishuli River, with its massive boulders scattered throughout the turquoise rapids, is a class 2-3 river. It is a mellow river, perfect for adventurers of all ages.
We leave early in the morning and drive towards Fisling. After a couple of hours, we jump in the raft and begin to float down the river. Enjoy the scenery of rolling hills, jungles, terraced hillsides, and local villages. The trip covers roughly 20 kilometers / 12.4 miles from Charaudi to Fisling. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. Observe the diversity in landscapes as well as villages around the river.
There are several exciting rapids by the names of Snail's Nose, Teendevi, Malekhu, Monkey Rapid, Surprise, Monsoon, Cotton Pony, Ladies Delight, S-Bend, Highway, Monsoon, and Pinball Rapid. They are still considered class 2-3, though, during monsoon season, they cause quite a thrill.
Our ride awaits in Fisling, and we drive back to Kathmandu. Do note that there are numerous ways to extend this adventure. Combine our rafting trip with paragliding, bungee jumping, jungle safari, and/or a trek. Let us know your interests and we will manage the perfect combination package for you!
Note that this is a single-day package. If you would like the extension to two or three days (one or two nights), there is an awesome way to extend the journey and camp on secluded beaches next to the river.
Trishuli River Rafting can be experienced by adventurers of all ages. River rafting requires no previous experience, just a desire to have some fun. Our guides are experienced and know the river well. They will provide you with everything you need to have a safe and comfortable float. Rafting can be done all throughout the year. Even during monsoon season, the rains bring even more thrilling rapids. Breeze Adventure arranges the rafting excursion with complete management.
The package begins and ends in Kathmandu. However, we can arrange to transport you from Pokhara to the river and back, just let us know!
Best Time for Trishuli River Rafting
The best time for Trishuli River Rafting is anytime from April to October. April and May's month are known to be the hottest months, so it feels amazing to raft and swim in the glacier-melted water. Lots of Nepalese people do rafting in this period. After the first half of May, monsoon season starts in Nepal. The water levels in the river rise, making it a lot more fun to raft. There will be lots of rapids on the river and the boat reaches higher speeds, so it’s a bit more exciting. We lead trips until October when the weather starts to cool down. Note that October is still a viable and fun month to raft.
If you are going on a trek to the Annapurna region, Trishuli River Rafting is perfectly on your way to Pokhara. Or, if you have finished your trek in the Annapurna area and want a little more adventure, cool off on your way back to Kathmandu!
